Time of the Exchanges of the World

Trade on the world markets does not stop even for a second. Around the clock, five days a week, at any time on the global markets thousands of orders are performed. In this case, the daily turnover in the foreign exchange funds, commodity and stock exchanges in the aggregate reach up to tens of trillions of dollars.

Work of the world's exchanges are divided arbitrarily into four regional areas "Asian market", "European market", "American Stock Exchange" and "Pacific Exchange". At the same time, taking into account the different time zones that exist on the Earth, in the financial world it is accepted to use a single time standard UTC.

Thus, despite the fact that the global financial mechanism includes a plurality of entities located in different countries around the world, its work is carried out by a well-established interim standard.

So here is a table of the available global financial markets in the winter and summer seasons.

Asian trading session

The opening of the sessions on the global financial market (we mean the commodity, the stock and currency exchanges trading sessions) begins with the Asian market. Everything starts with the country of the "Rising Sun" - Japan, which begins the trading week and starts new trading day daily. However, the Asian market is considered one of the most peaceful in the world markets. The most volatile trading tools for the Asian market are currency pairs in the numerator of the index including the Japanese Yen, Hong Kong Dollar, Singapore Dollar (example: USDJPY, USDSGD, CHFHKD, etc.), shares of Asian companies and enterprises: TOSHIBA CORP., SOFTBANK CORP ., SONY CORP. and Asian stock indices: Nikkei, FHI and others.

More often, while trading in Asian markets the prices of most financial assets are in narrow price channels. Therefore, traders around the world most often trade with strategies built on a flat and channels. However, the Asian market is very cunning and unpredictable. Traders from Asia are capable of sufficient large-scale bullish and bearish intervention that often occurs when the data from the meeting of the central banks of Asian countries and exit financial statements of budget-corporations are published.

The European trading session

European stock exchange sector is considered as one of the most active financial centers listed above. The European market is second in line after the start of the next trading day, and almost always it brings a maximum recovery in the retail markets. At this time the most active currency pairs with the numerators are EUR, GBP and CHF, stock indices in Europe: CAC 40, FTSE 350, DAX, shares of European companies: Commerzbank, BASF, Deutsche Post, and etc, as well as goods: OIL, GOLD and GAS.

During European sessions trend movements are created and decayed, large-scale bullish and bearish battles between the major market participants are committed. During this period, the world’s most basic macroeconomic news are released that gives rise to a sufficiently strong changes in the priorities of supply and demand.

During the operation of stock exchanges in Europe, usually trade trend strategy is built on volatile instruments and their recoilless movements.

American trading session

This session overlaps the second half of the European session. At this time, the global markets are the most active. Since stock markets of America, especially the share market, are considered the most voluminous and aggressive in the world. Thus, the coincidence of the trading time on the stock exchanges in Europe and America entails the most "brutal" fights between the traders from two poles of financial world. During the trading session in America the most volatile are the currency pairs with the numerator of USD, shares of American corporations: Pfizer, Verizon, Microsoft, stock indices: S & P 500, Nasdaq, USA 30, and others., as well as goods: OIL, GOLD and GAS.

Pacific session

This is the most peaceful time in the financial markets of the world. At this time the main marketplaces of the world sleep and only Australia and New Zealand take part in the trade. Therefore, financial assets are usually traded in narrow channels and very rarely show the signs of volatility. However, the most active in this period of the world of stock trading are the currency pairs with the numerators: AUD and NZD, stocks from the Pacific sector: Kobe Steel Ltd., Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corp., indices: CNX, Nifty, S & P / ASX 200, as well as taking into account the fact that Australia and New Zealand specialize in the production of non-ferrous and precious metals, so during the Pacific sessions metals are active: gold, copper and aluminum.

Official holidays in all the above regions are Saturday and Sunday. In addition, some exchanges of the world can stop their work during the national holidays.
